The first destination of your tour is the monument against war and fascism on Albertinaplatz.
This monument, which dominates the entire square, commemorates the countless victims of the Holocaust and is an important memorial.
The next stop is a visit to the Jewish section of the Central Cemetery.
In 2011 the European Maccabi Games took place for the first time since 1945 in Vienna on German-speaking soil. As part of your tour, you will visit the sports venue for these games.
The tour now takes you to the Volkertmarkt, which with its many kosher stalls invites you to linger.
After that, the route continues to the Jewish Museum. The rich Jewish history of the city of Vienna from the 17th century to the present day is presented here, as well as special exhibitions.
Afterwards you visit the largest synagogue in the city of Vienna. A Jewish bookshop and the Simon Wiesenthal Center are in the same building complex
